NE is a company with well known brands, such as Nationalencyklopedin and Brockhaus, on a growth journey. We provide digital learning and information and fact services to students, teachers and many more. We reach approx. 4 million students with our digital learning services in Sweden, Germany and Austria, with a positive growth rate during the last ten years.

Now we aim higher! We are accelerating our growth journey, taking our digital educational platform to more markets. For this, we are looking for a Product Manager to take our digital information and fact services (Core Content Products) to the next level and ensure services fit for new markets.

The Role

As the Product Manager for Core Content Products you will be accountable for some of our most important products on all of our markets. 

Your key accountability will be to develop our current products and identify opportunities of new information and fact services and how we can combine these with the remainder of our portfolio to maximize usage of our products across markets.

To do this, you own the vision and strategy of the specific products within the Core Content Product portfolio and are responsible to evaluate market needs and to execute on a roadmap to build fantastic services for our users.

You will be part of the global Product Management team, working close to key stakeholders in markets, development team, UX and, most importantly, our users, to develop our products.

The products in your ownership cover our digital services for Encyclopedia, Dictionaries, Play services, Junior services, and more, which are all core in NE’s overall offering and the key enablers in markets. And of course, any new product and service that you can come up with.

Who you are

We love curiosity and we care greatly about supporting the knowledge development of the students in our markets. To succeed in this role, you are curious, creative, driven and results oriented. You have a commercial mindset with focus on the value we bring to our users. Previously you have been working in a product development role, in business development, as a management consultant, or in a similar position. An interest in learning, education and EdTech is preferable and experience working with multiple markets and stakeholders is meriting.

What you will do

  • Set the vision and strategy for the Core Content Products
  • Analyze product performance and market trends and needs to set the development plan and roadmap
  • Execute on the product roadmap through product development projects through which you are the sponsor
  • Working with UX to build fantastic experiences for our users
